Amsterdam High School Media Center

Welcome to the AHS Media Center

The AHS Media Center provides a space for students to focus on their academics by providing resources to garner a wide knowledge base.  We offer 12,300 titles for student selection as well as several online resources for topic-specific research.

The primary goal of our instruction is to continue to grow the independent skills developed in middle school to meet academic expectations at the high school level.

Hours of Operation

The library is open from 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Facilities and Resources

The media center is open to all students who have academic work to do.  This typically occurs during advisory periods or at the discretion of individual teachers.  In addition, teachers may schedule library time for a variety of reasons.
