The Tri-M National Music Honor Society welcomed 21 new members and honored continuing members in a ceremony that included student speakers as well as student and music faculty performances last week. Candidates were nominated based on outstanding contributions to the GASD music department. Tri-M members also chose to induct an honorary member this year, Amsterdam High School Principal AnneMarie Giles for her support and commitment to the AHS Music Program. The Tri- M Music Honor Society is a service and leadership organization that brings choral and band students together.
