In accordance with the regulations of the New York State Education Department, the Greater Amsterdam City School District will be holding a public hearing regarding the Contract for Excellence (C4E) Program for the upcoming academic 2023-2024 school year.
The purpose of this hearing is to solicit stakeholder input and feedback on the Greater Amsterdam City School District’s proposed utilization of C4E funds to enhance educational opportunities and improve student achievement within the district. Questions, concerns, or comments regarding the district’s 2023-24 Contract for Excellence can be submitted in writing by Sept. 15 to 23-24contractforexcellencecomments@gasd.orgor at the public hearing, which will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 5:30-6:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Amsterdam High School Library, 140 Saratoga Avenue, Amsterdam, N.Y. 12010.
