On Saturday morning, Amsterdam High School cadets Brayden McKown, Nick Brown, and Tajahn Bowman showcased their dedication to service by volunteering at the Elks Club on W. Main Street to serve breakfast to local veterans.
The cadets demonstrated exceptional professionalism and compassion, receiving heartfelt praise from attendees for their efforts and positive attitudes. Their willingness to dedicate their time on a weekend to honor Amsterdam’s veterans reflects the core values of both our district and our community.
“We’re incredibly proud of Brayden, Nick, and Tajahn for their unselfishness and commitment,” said a representative of the Greater Amsterdam School District. “They represented their families, school, and the entire Amsterdam community with pride and integrity.”
