The Greater Amsterdam School District is proud to announce that alumnus Alejandro Christopher has been selected as the Regimental Commander of the Corps of Cadets at the United States Coast Guard Academy. This prestigious position is the highest-ranking role within the Corps of Cadets, making Alejandro responsible for leading approximately 1,100 cadets at the Academy.
The Regimental Commander plays a vital role in shaping the leadership, discipline, and teamwork of the entire corps. Alejandro’s selection to this role highlights his dedication, perseverance, and exceptional leadership qualities that were cultivated during his time in Amsterdam and further developed at the Coast Guard Academy.
