Amsterdam teacher Natalee Malpass is inspiring a love of reading in students and families across the Greater Amsterdam School District (GASD) through her generous free book giveaway. Thanks to her efforts, children were able to take home books of their own, sparking curiosity, creativity, and a passion for learning.
The giveaway was more than just about books—it was about bringing families together to celebrate the importance of literacy and the joy of reading. Initiatives like these show how small actions can have a big impact, creating lifelong readers and learners within our community.
