The Greater Amsterdam School District proudly celebrates a historic milestone as the Amsterdam Girls Wrestling Program competed in their very first official event at the Anderson Tournament. This inaugural outing was a resounding success, with four of the six participating wrestlers earning medals and showcasing their remarkable talent and dedication on the mat.

The athletes demonstrated not only their skill but also their determination and commitment to excellence. Their performance at the Anderson Tournament sets a strong foundation for the future of Amsterdam’s Girls Wrestling Program and highlights the hard work these students have put into this groundbreaking initiative.
