Amsterdam High School tenth grade students recently visited two Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered at HFM BOCES. This visit provided students with an opportunity to learn about the programs available to them during their junior and senior years.

During the visit, students met with program instructors and current CTE students to gain insight into the curriculum, hands-on learning experiences, and potential career pathways. These programs cover a variety of fields, including skilled trades, healthcare, technology, and more.

Superintendent Richard Ruberti emphasized the importance of exposing students to these opportunities early in their high school careers. “Career and Technical Education programs offer students the chance to develop valuable skills and explore pathways that align with their interests and future goals. This visit allows our students to make informed decisions about their educational journey and career aspirations,” he said.

The district remains committed to supporting students as they explore diverse opportunities that prepare them for success after graduation. Parents and students are encouraged to reach out to school counselors for more information about CTE programs at HFM BOCES.
