The Amsterdam High School auditorium hosted the Tri-M National Music Honor Society induction ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Tri-M, the only nationally recognized Music Honor Society, honors students for their excellence in musicianship, leadership, and service to their school and community.
This year, 26 junior and senior students involved in choral, band, theater, or a combination of these disciplines were inducted into the society. Certificates were presented to each inductee, and the ceremony included remarks from student officers and senior members of Tri-M, highlighting the accomplishments of the new members.
Tri-M’s pillars of musicianship, leadership, and service were emphasized throughout the evening, with the new inductees serving as strong representatives of these values.
